Body Cream – Rich, Lightweight Daily Moisturizer

The most common question we get is about the difference between body butter and cream.

Body butters are thicker and richer than lotions and creams, lasting longer on the skin. They contain a mix of carrier oils and essential butters, with little to no water. Carrier oils help deliver nutrients into the skin, while butters are natural fats and minerals.

Our body butters are designed to be slightly softer for easy application and absorb quickly without leaving an oily residue. Creams, on the other hand, are thinner and often whipped.

They share similar ingredients with body butters but include water-based components like aloe or flower water. We also add beeswax as a natural thickener. This makes our cream lighter than butter but not as liquid as lotion.

Shipping during extreme weather may alter the texture of our Body Butters and Creams.  If the product has melted when you receive it, put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes so it can resolidify. If the project is frozen, allow time for the product to warm to room temperature before use.  

We do our best to account for the weather prior to shipping, however melding/freezing does not affect the wonderful skin nourishing benefits, and the products are still completely safe to use.
